You need to shed some liabilities, if you NEED to be making $5k a month.

Lower your bills, aka burn rate, to as close to zero as possible. Then if you want to start a business, you can actually start small and manageable and build in a way that is sustainable.

I think you could send him a 1099, then it’s up to him whether or not to file it or whatever it’s called. He almost certainly will never get audited unless he’s a high income earner or has irregularities, which I doubt he would.

Banks and lenders are just money stores. Try to get the best deal possible, and don’t let them act like they’re doing you a favor. Let them know you’re going to shop around, but don’t let them know with who. Sometimes it’s a small world and they know each other.

Of course I can. I can also change my own oil in my fleet vehicles, so my own books, answer my own phones etc.

I want to work on my business, not in my business. Everyone’s expected roi is different, but I’d rather pay someone than do these things myself.

The idea doesn’t matter. You could mow lawns, be a plumber, paint houses, or anything. Do a good job, answer your phone, and treat your customers right and make them happy, and you’ll make a killing. And stay out of debt as much as possible.

You are vastly underestimating how much work that would be. People who are not in business are always telling people who are how we can make more money.
