Yes, if you own a busniess you will need some payment services on your website or any other method that you use such as paypal, Wise sometimes cashapp as well mostly the transaction happens via Stripe. so include all of these it will benefit your busniess greatly.

Wise is used to convert currencies, when travelling.

If you can process Visa cards, that is probably your safest option, as Wise accounts come with a Visa card (physical or digital).

Your client can also do a standard bank transfer. They might just need your bank’s IBAN which should be on the bank’s FAQ page or you can call your bank for it. Your account info to deposit will be the same. This will probably be your cheapest option (for you). It costs them a small fee to transfer.

You can also set up your own Wise account for your client to transfer into. Before you get your money you may need to verify your identity. You would transfer to yourself as the client would above.

Wise is a solid service to receive payments. Usually close to the cheapest way you can transfer and receive payments internationally

Uh they do have business options. I use Wise because they tend to give good rates for international stuff.

Is this a new customer? Or an existing customer? As a rule I don’t accept alternate forms of payment unless it’s an established customer I trust and want to keep them happy. I have stripe so that works for almost everyone. I also accept checks which works for the rest.

If they want your banking info to use wise or another payment service it could be a scam(even if the payment service is legit). For instance they get you banking info then transfer money out to a domestic bank then an international bank. You may not even realize they are the ones that scammed you as they may complete the original transaction.

Wise is the transfer service Faire uses for there 200K+ brand accounts they pay out regularly. We use them for a number of accounts daily and no complaints. It’s very similar to PayPal in that you get paid into your wise account and then have to initiate a transfer to your bank account, which is usually only a few hours’ process. Fees wise, they are one of the cheapest around.

Paypal and banks are usually the worst for international transfers as they charge you secretly by giving you a bad exchange rate.

Wise is one of the established players in the market that changed the game by using real time rates and sharing the fees upfront. However, they went public a few years ago and have become more expensive since.

Now there is Atlantic Money that don’t challenge the banks or Paypal but Wise. They offer every transfer for the same price and can save u massively. Heard about them for the first me here at smallbusiness and I am a fan ever since.
