I have a job that suck, toxic people can’t bear them anymore. I have 3 months before my internship is completed. So i decided to start my software agency. I built my website https://jsgdevelopers.com/. I bought a bunch of leads from fiverr, basically those businesses who had shitty website. I pitched about 5 people but no one is even responding back. I feel really demotivated. Here is one of the email i sent just for example

I don’t know what is wrong. Are my emails not personalized enough? (i even attached some screenshot of their website in 1 of cold email). Is it sounding fishy? Or its just luck not working out

Well I see a few things you haven’t considered 1) you’ll have pain in the ass clients working for yourself too, only difference is you can choose to not work with them at that point 2) buying leads from fiverr you’ll likely get the same list they sold to everyone else. And each of them probably gets 5 emails a day about redoing their website. 3) pitching 5 clients is nowhere near enough to know if it’s working or not. You’ll need to contact 100 to even start to decide if it’s working or not 4) business owners get 20 emails a day pitching them for services and web design is the main one so you’ll need to be better than everyone else or try be unique in some way
Hire a public speaker to handle pitch meetings or just advise you on them practice public speaking and watching public speakers on YouTube
Cold pitching isn’t really pitching. Most people gets tons of these emails and delete them
You need to work on your English to deal with westerners.
I’d say pick a niche and specialize in that area. Also use LinkedIn to share your work. Upwork also can be good.
There are many problems with your email:
- Its spam
- It is trying to sell to early
- You have built zero trust and rapport
- Its spam
- You bought spam list
Lol only 5 and your waiting for results u should at least send 100 a day for 100 days that’ll almost guarantee you having a client
And don’t use chat-gpt for writing emails or tell it to make shorter and simpler
Don’t tell the prospect what will you do(of course you have to) but your focus should be on what will the changes you made do to their business
ex. Convert 20% more viewers into buyers that’s 5% extra profit in just 2 weeks
