Very unlikely you would get good marketers to do that, but give it a shot maybe someone likes your app idea

Forex trading is a scam, almost everyone loses money doing that. Not something you just spend a few years doing and then you become profitable

Pretty sure once you have £85k revenue you need to register. Or at least contact an accountant before that to look into it deeper. If you’re nowhere near that then you’re good on VAT. But you’ll pay taxes over £1000 revenue as a sole trader and have to register

You’ll probably just waste that money if you’re not going to put the work in to be honest. Best to just invest into an index fund unless you start to care more about business

I feel like a lot of people don’t recognize many lucky opportunities or don’t act on them. If you’re prepared for it and analyse things then maybe you happen to notice an advertisement for a business that you know you can make yourself better. Or someone mentions knowing somebody and you realise you could start a business together etc. very rare to just stumble into something luckily without putting in the work to notice it and work on it

lol €4K euros, I paid $2.5k for one making me $1k a month. Once you get to making videos you’ll spend way more than it’s generating on editing etc. and if you leave it as is it’ll die off in 6 months max

Keep in mind marketing gambling has specific regulations, depending on the type of gambling certain sites don’t even allow promoting it or have strict rules. And it generally takes a lot of money to get influencers to promote gambling or to run paid ads for it as you’re competing against the big boys. But also what are you doing at your startup if you’re looking for someone to do marketing and someone to build it?

Do you actually make 500-1500 per hour though? Or is it more that you charge $150 and it takes you 6 minutes to do but you get a few customers a day

Started off like that but it’s not the way to go forward, hired an accountant to save me a bunch of time on that. Then employees to reduce workload. Otherwise you’ll just get burnt out and not grow as much as you could

I believe you don’t actually sign up for anything, you just file a self assessment tax return at the end of the year if you earned over £1000

Keep in mind you’ll need to do marketing once it’s ready or find someone who can do that for you. So might be a good idea to look for cofounders

It’s definitely tougher to market a two sided marketplace because like you said the value comes from an existing userbase. Maybe think about a good referral program and give a very good incentive for existing sellers to also use your platform. Once you have them you can start to market to buyers and go from there

Yeah get a job and keep running this on the side until you can grow it more
