I have 2 clients - my 1st client is great and they referred me to my second clients. It’s been a struggle to get anything done because they don’t give me a lot of direction. I tried to set up a meeting with both of them. Preferably weekly but open to bi weekly so we are all on the same page. How do I communicate the importance of “communication” between the 3 of us.

I love this - AI can’t replace human intuition or touch and the last thing most people need is another piece of software to interact with.

I would try calling or emailing them directly and just keep asking for what you need. If they start complaining about the frequency of the calls/emails use that to let them know you’d be happy to set a time once a week to cover routine issues and questions.

Good luck! And congrats on your business and first clients!!

Thank you!!! I’ve expressed the importance via slack but they take a long time to get back to me.

You have to COMMUNICATE the importance of Communication, as cliche as that sounds…that really is how you can set this up.

Outsourcing cannot function without two way communication, you need to share information, progress, reports, KPIs and any and all happenings in the project on a regular basis. I tell my clients that without these scheduled meetings we cannot really get anything out of our engagement…and they listen. For most of my clients we have bi-weekly meetings scheduled and we have a very simple reporting format that we share between us to stay updated on the project’s progress.

We start with simple progress update and then continue to add any new tasks/items that they delegate to us on a weekly basis.

Then we also do a quarterly review so that we can track our progress strategically.

Tell me more about your business…do you only offer plain VAs or do they have industry specializations such as Real Estate, Healthcare etc…
