You enjoy working with each other even through all the bad luck? Wow that’s kind of a superpower. I think you need to figure out how you manage to keep things going well between you and consider being life coaches or something like that. Keeping it together despite adversity is pretty cool.

If you are careful and thoughtful about this I would not be surprised if you discover something worthwhile and surprising.
wilo_the_wisp@alien.topBtoStartups•All startup landing pages look the same these daysEnglish1·2 years agoNice design. But I started out with “why would I want to be my own agent” and then had an ahha moment when I read “how much is my house worth”. wilo_the_wisp@alien.topBtoStartups•Anyone NOT working on an ai focused product/company?English1·2 years agoMy project is not AI. It’s an app for showcasing portfolios of pictures (though could be used to present a business concept with careful design).

wilo_the_wisp@alien.topBtoStartups•When is the right time to quit well-paid job for a start-up?English1·2 years agoI agree with the sell-before-build comments. Your idea should be validated before you even think about a resignation letter. I’m also of the view that it should be possible to transition into a startup. If you’re valuable to your employer then they will accept you on a part-time or consulting hours basis, and you can finally let the safety line go when your business is flying.
My 2c is to not pile up 50 hours of youtube and 10 books to get ready. Just start as best you can. Scan read books and articles and learn to find the nuggets as fast as possible. Write the gist of good bits down. Learn to move on quickly if something isn’t useful.
