  • Hi, I’m an SEO and this would be my recommendations.

    1. Local SEO - Focus on your website, content, and optimization of pages.
    2. Google Business Profile and other local map profiles - your local business needs to show up when people in those 2 neighborhoods look for mobile detailing or other keywords.
    3. Direct mail (if you can afford it) send out some promotions to people in the neighborhoods and create a loyalty program
    4. Partnering with others in your indirect space. Gas stations, mechanic spots, dealerships, etc.
    5. Local paper/online paper - reach out to the local paper or online local news site and tell them about your company. Find out about any type of advertisement or feature you can get with them.

I would at least start with these. Everyone likes to go for ads and throw money at everything. That’s not always the case. I focus more on organic first which is why I recommend these.

  • I completely feel you on this and thanks so much for sharing. Have you tried headphones? I will put on headphones with something on youtube like focus music, college music, or any other keywords that will pertain to paying attention.

If you have earbuds great, but if you have over the ear closed back headphones, it’s amazing. After about 10 minutes of it and reading, I’m in the zone. I’m an SEO, website builder, and content writer for local businesses. So All my work is computer based. It really helps me get in the zone. And I don’t get overwhelmed because it calms me. Thank you so much for the links, I have them book marked.

Oh I also have sleep apnea. I turn into Top Gun every night now with my full mask set. I definitely feel more energy throughout the day and my dreams are vivid. Also I noticed that I’ll sleep thinking I slept for 8 hours, and look at the clock and it’s been 4. It’s so wild.

  • I’m really sorry to hear this and about your shoulder. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?

I also have memory issues and I’m in my 30’s but it’s due to brain fog I think. You persist because you know it will get better. You have to stick to it. I am in search engine optimization so I get businesses more traffic. Sometimes my clients expect the world unrealistically and instead of it making me feel less than, I just know that it’s how people are. I’m great at what I do and they are just made to get frustrated.

What does HSP feel like? Can you describe it? I know of it but not sure what it actually would feel like.

You have to stick it out. Business is really hard in general. I’m kind of a psychopath with learning business stuff in general, so you have to step back and figure out what seems broken. If it’s not going well in terms of numbers, what could be done to fix it.

You have to have the market, the offer, and talking people into it.

If what you offer is great, and there’s a market, it’s the talking people into it. If you’re great at talking to people, and your offer is great, but the market is low, you have to move to where the market is.

The market could be social media, google, or local communities. I’m good with design since I build websites but awful with metalworking. I wouldn’t know where to began. But that’s all visual and I’m sure yours looks amazing. If you’re not on social, I would start there. Post all your stuff, and then hit up local communities or only groups. If you do it in person great. If you always teach virtually, even better.

Sorry but when I see people not sure about something business, I get all fired up and try to help. haha. Thank you so much for sharing though, I appreciate it very much. Definitely tell me more about HSP. I’d like to hear about it.

  • Aw i’m sorry to hear that. I actually thought that I had bipolar as well because I’ve had the feeling of mania but I think it’s more adrenaline than mania. Like I don’t want to party, make bad decisions, or go out and enjoy life. It’s more like adrenal surges and I have to just wait for it to stop. I looked into the physical health stuff related and I’m still not sure what they are. It’s not often but it does once in a while which is why I thought mania.

Oh i love a nap so so much. I’m in my 30’s and I will cuddle the f out of my blanket. haha. oh really a checklist causes you to get emotional? or helps with the emotions? Oh I’m so glad the meds are helping. Really happy to hear that.

Mania helped you start your business? That’s actually really cool (not cool you have mania) but at least you got a good thing out of it ha. Love it.

  • I love fried rice ha. I’m sure there are business owners that don’t have depression. Or at least their depression was due to business being hard. Then once it’s running itself, that cloud lifts. My depression unfortunately wouldn’t get solved even if I had 100 million dollars. It would help make choices and life that much easier but mine is here to stay for now. But I love your take on it and totally see where that’s coming from.
