Sure, but while we worked for Ms there also tons of companies that were using Ms consultancy services at ridiculously high rates, so we are targeting this kind of companies
We’ve reached out to about 100 companies via email and LinkedIn. This was our initial CRM list, but now we’re running dry so I need to find new leads. I know LinkedIn does some suggestions but I was wondering if there’s maybe other ways to generate leads. I’ve seen some AI tools that look promising but never tried.
I’m at my credit limit with linkedin atm.
Ok yea, that’s all already done. Sounds like we’re on the right track then.
Would it be wise to then already show future pricing on the site or just leave it out completely and only make it visible once I have a certain amount of subscribers. Or perhaps show pricing and highlight a temporary promotion
This looks really interesting, are u offering this service already? Me and my business partner are ex Microsoft employees and we started our own IT consultancy company with focus on machine learning, AI, data quality assurance etc. We currently have a few running projects but would love to scale out.
U can describe details to ChatGPT and just ask it to spit out 50+ names at once. Then take something that pops out and regenerate similar names as that until you’ve narrowed it down. The more u see the more ideas u’ll have of what u like
Build a proof of concept first, then u can find an investor using that proof of concept. Then with that money u can build a minimum viable product and find the next investor etc
Hire a part time CRM coordinator
I studied a lot, finished a PhD, but honestly, this is not how you make money at all. Not even talking about academic life which pays rather crap. School just mainly prepares you to be an employee, not an employer. I knew nothing about business when I finished school, didn’t even know how it worked. All I knew is I was supposed to go get a job.
So if u wanna enjoy company benefits while having a 9-5 job and working your ass off for someone else’s profits while counting down for that one summer vacation a year, school’s ur thing.
Interesting concept, what is your business model for this sales academy? U charge a % of each sales?
Hi, that’s pretty dope!
I’ve recently launched a new service which is an API that does IP and URL reputation checking. Do you reckon there’s a place for something like this as a VS Code Extension? For security reasons it requires an api key, I assume subscription can all be organized from within the extension?
Travel, a lot, the more countries u visit the more u realize how all your friends and family at home live in a bubble.
Traveling also creates so many business opportunities, not only from meeting people but also from just seeing what is needed in other places and what certain things cost.
U mean as an actual person or some magical AI service? 🙂
What I did is I paid a local guy to consult and then mainly just asked questions and did most of the actual work myself. I did this mainly for Thai law and I don’t speak Thai so that has been challenging. i also recently opened a company in Singapore so let’s see how that goes. I HIGHLY recommend you learn this because I have managed to reduce my taxes substantially by doing this (I often end with nearly zero tax to pay). I’ve now trained my wife also how to do it (who does speak Thai), so I’m now doing very little for it besides occasionally asking some updates.
Parking or garages. And if u got the money add more floors
Like others here I also run several micro businesses:
Also it’s worth mentioning I live very remote in the mountains in Thailand. Meaning my cost of living is 10 times lower than in the US and I pay a substantially lower amount of taxes
Absolutely, especially cuz u can take existing tools and break them apart and adjust
Sueing is going to cost a lot more than 5k. He sounds like he’s full of nonsense though, there’s lots of people in business like that. Lots of pretenders that are basically just acting as middlemen while doing nothing. If it has cost you 5k to learn that experience, I would say that’s pretty cheap. I’ve dealt with these kind of people many many times and it has sadly cost me a lot more than 5k and a lot more time as well. I think you’re gonna have to brush it off as a learning experience.
If you get in a situation like that again, I would recommend not going faster than any of your partners, if they tend to slow down then just shift gears and pivot to other potential side businesses. The more eggs in your basket the better
If u tried long enough and it’s not working then just pivot, keep pivoting until it works
