Almost all posts here that involve a statement about wages claim they are paid above market. It’s amazing!

How do you call that legit? Ridiculous.

Being in B2B sales going on 20 years, I can tell you why they keep calling and why they get more aggressive - The sales managers today are completely focused on generic metrics and KPIs instead of the one thing that actually matters - building a relationship with customers. As a sales guy, it’s infuriating. But I guess that’s how it is going to be for us old guys.
No, it’s not unreasonable to ask, nor is it unreasonable for him to expect the remaining two weeks, if that wasn’t discussed when you offered to pay him through his rehab.
Couple things here that are limiting you:
- You’re in the most over-saturated space out there.
- You’re targeting painters with bad websites (which is subjective) in one area. A painter’s website should be fairly basic. It isn’t ecomm. Contact info and a gallery of finished jobs. Maybe a bio. Not much more needed.
- You’re offering free stuff which, as others have said dampens your credibility.
