Yeah, i guess thats the right analogy, because there are many things that need to match. Your perfect co founder is not the same as mine. Just read the beginning of Steve Jobs book, and he says very similar things

Well, I dont really know how is your financial health, but senior developers charge a high amount, so if you don’t have this kind of money, you will need to hire a junior, and he dont have a lot of experience building products. But is great for his carrer as a developer, you dont have to spend a lot of money and the product can be developed. But you will need to be very rigorous on the criteria to select this junior.
I think there is no such thing as looking for a cofounder, is like to look for a girlfriend. Its better if you hire a person and you make the product with him. It will be a bad pace to build, but you will also learn a lot about the product

What you said is very clarifying for me. Its like selling the company and showing that you are not just “cofounding” with him which means he make it all. You have already made your side of the trade
The best way is to be in a community of people who often need this kind of services. People who own companies, or want to be entrepreneurs.
The mais problema you will find is to sell their product since you dont understand about it. I recommend you study about what he does, not the programming itself, but about what those languages does and why they are used for.
Didnt liked the book itself, but the part that he partners with Wozniak might be insightful
