Company I worked for offshored 100% of their incident management and fired all the UK staff. Then it was pointed out to them that their largest customer (40% of their business) had a clause that they had to use UK staff for all IM.

The ensuing shit show caused at least two executives to leave the business for “other opportunities.”

Not only that, the machine itself was so massively overbuilt they were losing money on every one they sold.
