Coming from a third world country, buying used iPhones in bulk from US, UK and Canada at very discounted prices, then sell them at quite a healthy markup. Got a job but still do it as my main side business.

“Flipping”. My niche is electronics. Knowing market value of computers, phones, etc. I would buy locally and then post online. I also have a background in IT so I buy a lot of broken devices to fix and resell and even flip broken devices without repairing them at times. This really can be done with any hobby. The downside is that I source a lot of my items locally so it’s not just limited to online. Some things also sell better or for a higher price locally than if I list them online. It’s definitely a hustle but the amount of money you can make just by buying and reselling items is ridiculous.

In the early days i tracked items on Ebay and put them on marketplaces with fixed prices. And made killer advertisements. For example: A lamp on auction was worth 100 bucks. And current bid was 15 bucks.

I offered it for 80 bucks on Craigslist, pick up from X-date (after auction). And put in a max offer at ebay of 50 bucks. Do this 100 times a week. And you can earn a lot of money (back then, i don’t know how it will be in current times).
