  • You’re very detailed about your private life (congrats btw), and very vague about your specific skills. You need to switch that. You’re a great writer, but if you are offering skills, lead with that. But congrats with your Khabie kushie, khabie gham story, haha. Coding with? What is your specialisation in the data-field? What kind of experience do you have, what exact role did you have?

  • Getting to your goal > achieving your goal. What you’re going thru is pretty common., so you are not alone.

How long ago have you sold the company? And when does the non-compete ends? In what market? Maybe you can re-entree the market from another angle, so that you can build on your previous network and momentum.

Put 60% into savings and/or a safe investment heaven. And use 20% as starting money for your new venture. Identify honestly what made the first comp. successful, and what not.

Why did your previous projects fail? Too afraid to invest?

  • Now, Its cheap and quickly done. Even if its for your MVP, your conversations with clients, partners and investors will be different. You seem more serious with a company. Why not? Otherwise their will always be reason not to do it today, tomorrow, next week.

I don’t see a big downside. You can update your LinkedIn en start promo on the SM.

  • Use it as fuel to prove them wrong. And you can keep them posted about your progress.

Back in the day, when a potential investor didn’t invest in my company, i put them on a ‘newsletter’. And after years and years of building relationships, it has been one of my best moves till date, to keep them simply in the loop. Good luck.

  • Contact the competition, or who you aspire to copy. Ask them for tips and advice. You will be shocked how many entrepreneurs are willing to mentor and help. Because you are not a threat (yet). Just ask.

What kind of business do you have? How many SKU? E-commerce can be daunting at first but the same principles apply at your physical business, you just need to put another filter on! Good luck.

Would be cool if BuddyAI could adjust your first letter to the company and send out letters automatically.

Weekly/Daily notice: BuddyAI saw 15 interesting job listings, and 9 of them were suitable for you. Should i send personalized letters? . (yes automatically O). And then ongoing updates -> Company A has sent you a invite for an appointment -> put in calender etc etc.

    What could work…

Choose a template for this niche. Put their logo, name and pictures on the header. Make a printscreen and send them this. Make one whitelabel variant of this theme, If interested show them the WL-theme, and for XXX USD it can be theirs. Now you give them something to see and feel.

  • I just posted this in an other thread:

Learn to adjust Wordpress themes, and find some online logo makers. Get access to a free AI tool (like ChatGPT), get a subscription @ envato elements (15 bucks a month). Go to google maps, look for ugly sites and offer them a new website voor USD 250-500. And a monthly hosting fee of 10 bucks.

Get the know one or two themes in a niche, search for a directory site, and approach those companies for a new site and logo.

Pretty easy and i recommend this route for everyone that is starting with entrepreneurship. You learn how to sell, how to communicate, how to deliver, how to maintain relationships.

    Good luck.
