So the other day, I let a call from the BBB go to voicemail, they gave me a number and an extension to call. They said they were calling for me, the owner of my business. Would anyone know why they are calling? I did discover it comes from a legit place in Eugene, OR, but I’m not even in the area, so I don’t know why the phone call would even come from there.

Would it be a sales call? Because I’m not interested in joining. So, should I just ignore it if they try and call again? Anyways, thank you!

100% agree. BBB can wholly be ignored.

Yelp is a mafia as well, you would’ve thought Google Business would make them go extinct but they still have huge Google organic rankings (e.g top 10 brunch restaurant in New York) and Apple Maps uses Yelp reviews to power their business reviews 🤮

But yeah, BBB calling you in 2023 is like Blockbuster calling you about late fees.
