Hey All! My wife is trying with only some success to get her name out there for her Salon suite. We’ve created all social media account, Groupon and even putting fliers on random cars. Does anyone have any advice for getting her clients? I’ve considered doing Instagram/Facebook promotion ads for her pages but am not sure if it is worth it has anyone had any luck with something like this?
Sounds like you’re on the right track. Definitely lean into Instagram and Facebook for promotions. You can really zero in on your local area, targeting folks interested in salon services. You know, showing off those stunning before-and-after client pics (with their OK, of course) works wonders. Boost App Social can be a sneaky good tool for that. It helps create eye-catching posts and stories that pop.
Also, don’t forget about Google My Business – super key for local searches. Happy clients? Get 'em to drop some shining reviews. That’s gold right there. You might wanna think about a referral program too. People love scoring deals for spreading the word. And for your regulars, a loyalty program keeps 'em coming back. Discounts on special days, maybe a freebie after a few visits – that sort of thing.
Keep up with the flyers, but maybe pick spots where your crowd hangs out, like gyms or cafes. And local papers or community boards? Could be worth a shot. It’s all about getting the word out there in a way that feels genuine and connects with people.
Yea that definitely s o me thing we’ve been doing, she’s taken a bunch of clients as “Models” just doing their hair for free in exchange for photos she can use as marketing and that’s garnered her some exposure but it’s kinda slow. As for the Good business this we’ve kinda done that, She has her own person page of it on Google but she is at a salon that already has its own business page and she rents a room in that business
