Im new to beeing a small business. Im struggling a lot with shipping costs. Here in Switzerland shipping under 500g is 19chf (€) tracking is a additional 5chf . Or even more if it goes to America. I just think its a HUGE dealbreaker, no? My stuff is around ~30chf a piece.
Any tips ?

Are you balking at the shipping costs or are your potential customers not buying from you because of the high costs?
Can you ship quantity in bulk to a US distribution partner who can then ship individual items cheaply in country?
Find out where your largest number of orders would come from and setup a bulk shipment to a local distributor that can mail it at a significantly lower cost. If your products are small this is the best solution. Would likely not work if your items are customized for the buyers.
It’s too expensive! Now I ship from China to the United States and Europe, and the freight of 500g products is less than 8 Swiss francs, and if it is 100g, the freight is less than 4 Swiss francs, and it can be tracked.
