Hej entrepreneurs of reddit, I need your help.

I am a mid 20s entrepreneur and kinda succesfull by my own standards. (7 figure / annum - revenue)

But I struggle a lot with laziness by which I mean not working as hard or concentrated as I can. Well I would say I currently not really work more than 20-30h per week in total.

Thanks to my amazing team the business is still growing good and we are well on track to reach our goals this year again with a good 30% growth. What I want to say is, the business is running good.

I still feel like I could do so much more. This makes me feel bad because everyone else in my team does an amazing job, so I kinda let them down.

The thing is I love entrepreneurship to my heart, it’s the thing that always keeps me in a good mood. I love the people I do business with and all my employees. I also love creating value for other people and improving the lives of all the people in my life.

And then I read a lot on this subreddit and some people say “Well being lazy is good it helps you to learn outsourcing …”

Yes and I outsourced nearly everything, now I just have time to do the stuff I want to do, but I lack any motivation to do so. Most of the days I lay in bed and scroll tiktok or instagram and when a mail or call comes in I answer and then go back to scrolling. I feel like my life has gotten too easy and this led to me losing my drive. And as a person with many skills losing your drive is really one of the worst things that can happen in my opinion.

So if any other of you could offer some piece of advice how I stop being a lazy blob, I would love to get some information.

you need systems. You have outsourced well but from your dialogue you are lacking systems to organize your life, your routine, your goals and everything else. You need a system that will help you not only to manage yourself, but hold yourself accountable - that is how you beat procrastination. It is like playing a game you know? when you are in the video game, normally there are many main quests and side quests when we are talking about rpgs, and they are the way we get to accomplish the missions in the game and keep ourselves focused on the higher end. you need a second brain, a system to store and organize all your information and to manage your life and your business

Haha suffering from the passive income success.

Why not just build another company, outsource everything there as well. Then get lazy again but now you have two businesses and then repeat the cycle until you get so many calls that you can’t scroll tiktok anymore.

    Gotta be proactive;)

Delete tiktok and any scrolling media platforms. That’s messing you up.

Also, delegate the tasks you don’t enjoy but keep the ones you do. Focus on your strengths, and delegate your weaknesses. 💪

You don’t have a laziness problem but a motivation problem, so you’ll have to uncover why you’re not motivated and address that. Work with a coach to figure that out, as it’s usually very hard to uncover these things by yourself.

I’d suggest finding something else you find interesting that you can put your time into, such as another business etc. Working towards something is the only way to stop laziness imo

Start another business. Then another one. This will prevent laziness 😂 Eventually one of them will pop and you can sell and then be extra lazy, but on a beach somewhere.

I am in the same situation as you. Everything works fine but I don’t found the motivation to do more. So now I try to spend my energy in some side project/business.

Get jacked. Play a sport. Play an instrument. Get a girlfriend. Go to Africa. Something will grab you sooner or later, your life just needs space to let it in.

What is the “desired destination” for this entrepreneurial journey?

    No “mountain peak” to climb?

You’re not challenged are basically bored. Either set some aggressive “I can do this goals” that stretch your talents or start another business.

Start building and growing your business. It appears that you’re not content sitting under the apple tree for the fruit to fall. So what can YOU do to shake things up?
