Saw a post today about a girl being a “pet psychic” who is apparently super successful. Wondered what other examples are out there.

We have a dog poop forensic business headquartered locally that markets to HOA’s and property management companies.

Basically, upon move-in to a subscribed property you have to submit a fecal sample for your dog(s) as apart of the application approval process.

The company keeps the fecal sample on record. So if your dog poops in the common areas and you don’t pick up after it, the poop is collected and mailed to them for analysis.

If the poop matches a sample put into the database, then the owner is identified and sent a fine.

I mean, I guess it’s not stupid because people don’t pick up after their pets… but the whole premise of dog poop forensics is both dumb and genius at the same time.

Wild. I love it. Who collect the specimens to be sent to the lab? Who are the narcs and what do they get paid?

There is another business just down the street that will sell you clean, untraceable dog shit.

Turns out it’s all from the owner of the business himself.

He figured out submitting human samples voids their tests.

I’m starting a poop insurance firm and investigative service to crack down on this egregious flaunting of the poop system

“Hey cousin, sorry we haven’t spoken in a while but can you send me some of your dog’s shit in the mail when you get a chance?”

That’s great but seems like it can be abused. What happens when someone who hates their neighbor just takes a sample from the bins and mail it in? Do they require photo evidence of the… scene of the crime so to speak?

We had this at my old complex. Someones dog kept pooping in the hallway and all the dog owners had to pay $40 to get their dog DNA sampled and they had to be brought to the office for the sample so they couldn’t be faked…

Good lord I had no idea. I avoid anything in a HOA like the plague. My neighborhood doesn’t have one so the bitches just call the city about everything. City is poor and DGAF.

In our HOA Facebook group, at least once a week someone is bitching about someone leaving dog poop on their yard and not picking it up. Just today, someone caught someone on their ring doorbell and outed him in the group. There’s money to be made, just feels hard to execute against. Is dog poop DNA really that unique? What if they change their diet?
