I own a very new, very small business selling underboob sweat protectors.

This morning I posted an offer on my page. It wasn’t a big offer but it was a saving. We’re talking a £1 saving here. Trust me, that’s important information.

I get a comment on my offer: “if you can afford to post offers like that, why don’t you just drop your prices? 🙄”

I’m horrified. I don’t understand what the motivation was behind it… I don’t think my prices are unreasonable at all and I’m not sure why someone would say that?

    Some people just need to be jerks.

    I’m the type for snappy comeback, so I would have just said “I can afford a temporary reduction of the base price as a gift to my wonderful customers. But I can’t afford to drop the price across the board for everything. Any dimwir could figure this out, but I’m glad I could help you!”
