This to those who are based in the bay area in california. What is the food situation like? I assume money is super tight and u wanna save any and all the money and time u can so does it all just consist of ordering food and thats it? I assume cooking food cooks too long so is everyone just forced to eat unhealthy doordash food everyday? Or perhaps its worse than than and u literally have to chain yourself to ramen noodles and hotdogs everyday. How healthy can you eat? I would like to work hard on my startup without fucking up my body the most.

TLDR, I wanna eat healthy so do people normally eat? Is maintaining health even possible?

How about a serious question - such as ‘if you show such laziness and ineptitude in finding out the food situation in locating to a new area, how are you going to be successful as a founder of a start up?’

I work out of a coworking space (its kinda like a hub). Theres usually random events and stuff in the building so I kinda sneak to those events to get the catered food and then go back to my laptop

If you were interested in saving money you wouldn’t be using Doordash. Before we moved away, my wife and I were regularly spending about $5k/month on Doordash.

Is your question for startup founders in early stages of bootstrapping? Or for normal startup employees? It’s unclear.

People who are employees just eat normal things.

(Not healthy but I wanna share) I work from home and I eat Cereal for breakfast, make myself pasta, hotdogs, or a chopped cheese sandwich for Lunch, and Dinner is left overs lol. I find that fruits are great for recovering energy so I always have grapes or cut apples next to me after lunch. You waste too much time going out for food, would recommend you just meal prep for the week. Or even practice making dishes you love until it you automate to making it while working, (pasta) or within 15 mins (chopped cheese sandwich)

Tacos. We have a bunch of taco places near us. We used to eat more when we could afford it.

Order from place like Sweetgreens. Tell them to put the dressing on the side. Don’t get the bread.

If someone offers food and if you’re introvert , be like “are you sure ? “ and go ahead . Go to as many meetups as you can , you’ll get connections as well as free food . At home, Just have cereal and eggs and bread ready. You’re good to go .
