My parents own a small business making natural room sprays that serve customers in the holistic wellness space. They (and their customers) are into yoga, crystals, energy healing, spirituality, and the like.

We’ve been in business for almost a decade, and have our products on the shelves of some Whole Foods Markets. I think there’s a lot of potential selling to yoga studios, spiritual/crystal stores, and spas. I’m planning to drop off some samples next week, accompanied by an 8.5x11 sales letter. I’ve swapped some details for privacy, but here’s what I’ve got:

Our mists are sold at dozens of boutiques across North America, including 50+ Whole Foods locations. Each mist is made by hand using vegan, stain-free, and ethically sourced essential oils like sage, chamomile, lavender, and jasmine.

    Do you want them to resell for you or do you want them to use your products in their studios. As others are saying you’re spending a lot of time trying to talk about why you should do business with them. I font think that’s the correct tactic. You have handed them a free sample. Your next action needs to be they make the most out of the sample. Step one convince them to use the sample today not have it sit on a shelf waiting for the perfect moment to light it.

    I would talk about the Vegan, dye free, qualities of it because it conforms to their value. But I would convince them to use the product today. One idea I have for this is making a themed box. Make it a fall themed box. Have the products be individually labeled for the day of the week. A card with each product describing how it is the best Monday mid November scent, etc and how it is going to inlay their day positively. That way, you make the special occasion today.

    I love your second paragraph. I totally think it should remain in the final edit. For the start of the copy, here’s what I would recommend - start with some random fact about the wellness industry and how people have touted it to be true. Then expatiate on how the wellness industry can go a long way to make one feel better, live better and have a better quality of life.

    I think it could be better. But, well done on this first try really
