Execution > Idea
Many people gave up because they don’t think their idea is unique enough. You don’t have to worry about competition. In fact, having competition already = your idea is validated.
To give you some context:
- There are tons of website builders out there, but Alexander Isora still manages to build his website builder Saas business to over $16k MRR
- Google created Google Analytics, but this doesn’t stop these 2 guys from creating a privacy-focused analytics tool to take on Google. They are doing $23k MRR after 5 years
Most importantly, don’t give up.

I’m running this site where I feature interviews and stories with indie founders who’ve started profitable business on their own, and this is my biggest takeaway.

Extremely thankful for the support I’ve received on this subreddit when I launched this little passion project, and also the indie founders who I’ve met here and interviewed on the site.
Big thank you to all

I feature interviews with founders of niche sites like yours.
Would love to be able to feature your story too.
I feature a couple of interviews with indie founders who have managed to monetize with their niche sites
Most common examples would be paid ads, paid subscription to a higher tier of service, or affiliate marketing.
Hope you find something there for yourself.

I noticed that you mentioned these marketing strategies are generated from A.I
I’d be happy to help out to improve your tool as I interviewed indie founders here on how they started and grew their businesses.

Most of the SaaS founders that I’ve interviewed attributed their success to priortizing their marketing over building.
Build it (and marketing the sh*t out of it), and then they will come
Why don’t you consider packaging up your knowledge and make money via digital products?
For example:
- This guy turned his Google Sheets tutorials into a $200k business
- Writing a book on web application deployment and making $40,000
- Making $2,500 monthly Roasting People’s Websites & Products
I run this site where I interview indie founders on how they started and grew their business and side hustles.
Hope you find something there for yourself. All the best!

Best advice on this thread.
To add on, since you’re already have a working arrangement that you’re comfortable with, let the product bring in some revenue before you quit your job.
$1k MRR would be ideal
