Sounds like you just need a short term job to keep some cash coming in.
I like the idea of promoting yourself on fiverr or Upwork. You could use your skills on projects you are interested in. However that isn’t guaranteed and it’s not guaranteed to be quick, that’s for sure.
If I were you, I would just find a job that I can get a lot of hours and get hired quickly. I’m thinking a waiter at a restaurant, or a job at a retail store, or maybe a customer service representative somewhere at a call center. Especially since you have a promising opportunity coming up, just find something quick and easy that will help you bring in the cash you need.
Those are just my thoughts based on your post!
Based off of what I read, I like the idea of staying with your current company. There is safety, but still strong incentive. You also avoid the massive risks and detailed planning associated with starting your own company.
I would definitely have a conversation with your partners about this and present them with your idea and why you deserve a higher share because of it.
