Honestly, I can’t imagine that you are adding any value to your current boss by being unmotivated . The fact of the matter is that working as an entrepreneur is risky. So if you plan to do it, i think you should just jump in and give your all. You’re more likely to make the business more of a success when you are working on it full time because it is something that fulfills you. There is no point in taking valuable time away from your business and investing it in something that drains you. I feel like there will always be something that will come up that will make you feel like it’s not time to leave your job. - like you need more money.
This reminds me of how Simon Sinek teaches that even when we choose our 6 clients we should choose them with our “why?” In mind.
We should only choose to work with people who resonate with the purpose of our business. It should not just be about the money because we will end up compromizing our own vision.
