As a medical practice owner myself, I 100% understand why they are referencing revenue. The truth is, if there is no profit, the practice will not be able to stay open. Patients love to call and talk about meds or issues and expect they don’t need an apt to talk to the provider. While the provider is happy to do that, they are losing out on money and won’t stay in business.

Patients think not paying their $20 copay for months is not a problem, but guess what you’re not the only patient with that attitude and then the office is waiting on thousands of unpaid copays.

November and December should be busy for upcoming holiday season. Start promoting a Black Friday sale with the dates, consider having a holiday sale weekend where you get an extra discount and free hot coco or something
