I can totally relate to OP. I have a small business too. My partner is supportive of what I do and occasionally help me pack our orders. There is one time he critisize my product packaging. I find that hurtful. But then again, I took it as a positive criticism and try to do better. So, the moral of the story is to take any criticism as a challenge for you to improve on your product in your business. Don’t take it to heart, even if it’s your family.
