Basically: responding, replying, following up, etc will put you ahead of a lot of others because so many people do NOT respond or follow up.
Both Square and Stripe have invoicing systems, I’d recommend Stripe over square due to so many businesses having an issue with square.
I am a photographer, so I’m looking at it through the lens of the same industry.
It sounds like she is needing a very basic CRM, and there are some great (and basic ones) out there for photographers.
Honeybook, Dubsado, 17hats, and Pixieset are some of the more popular ones.
Honeybook and Pixieset will be the most basic, but Pixieset has gallery capabilities along with scheduling, invoicing, contracts, etc. You can pay monthly or yearly. All of the above CRMs integrate with multiple payment platforms. I know that Pixieset also integrates with Venmo and allows for ACH payments if she isn’t ready to jump into the credit card arena yet (though I’d highly recommend it since it’s just one more way to make it easy for people to pay you)
