I work in IT as well. I’ll say this… 8 GB with microsoft products is not enough RAM. Teams itself has several bugs related to memory consumption and will eat up most of your RAM, especially if you have a web browser with a few tabs open and Outlook. Futureproof with 16 since you’re already making an investment.

Also, RAM and hard drives are easy to replace too! It’s usually cheaper to upgrade than paying for them to come to you already upgraded. Just make sure the model of machine you have supports it.

Get a company to receive in Korea and ship to you.

Sounds like people are not finding everything even if they do their counts. This is from a lack of operational process. Could also be the time you’re taking inventory… most places do it after operational hours due to fluctuations.

Inventory can be a simple spreadsheet, but the process around it has to be clearly defined and well thought out.
