They offered me $500 on Google Ads when I spend $500 in the first 60 days. So I decided to try them out. I have spent $450 so far and I have 4 days left. They just invalidated my offer. Thanks for ripping me off Google

Yes they ripped me off too by constantly going outside my targeting to get more clicks. Next thing I know it had me paying for my competition to view my website. Total scam imo

Huh, I’ve used this promotion twice from Google on two different businesses and had no problem with either.

Sorry yours got all fucked up.

Did you get emailed an offer similar to one that you previously already used?

They typically explicitly state they’re for first time users only.

Ive spent over 12800 hours in Google Ads. Unfortunately, those coupons have expiry dates and conditions attached.

I see lots of comments about Google going broad and wasting money. The automated solutions do that. Y’all need to operate in expert mode and deploy best practices. For one, you need to constantly optimise and add keywords to negative exclusion lists to keep the targeting tight.

I love the Google workspace but their support awful. They basically don’t offer support in my country. I had bought a domain from wix that came with free google ads credit that expired last December. Google changed their terms and conditions and suddenly it expired that April. I was livid but there was nothing I could do.

Read the damn fine print. You spend $500 then they will credit your account for another free $500. Better spend those $50 quickly.

They are managing earnings by screwing ad customers at this point. Your ads will only get less effective for the same $, Facebook too, as the economy softens.

In this thread, small business owners demonstrate the kind of attention to detail, reading comprehension, and pragmatic approach to problem solving that explains why the small business failure rate is so low.

I was burned also when I expected a slow uptake of ad spend. Unbeknownst to me it ended up at $2k. I got distracted with work and didn’t look on it in a few days. Yes, in a few days. Cancelled that placement so quickly
