I sell live plants and use USPS Priority Mail to ship my plants. I’ve been disappointed by their service lately, aside from not picking up my packages whenever I schedule them for pick up. Recently, I had a package that took two weeks to get delivered to the customer, and I had to replace it because the plant arrived not in good condition. When I filed a claim, they said priority mail is not guaranteed, which is ridiculous for paying a premium price. I’m thinking of switching to UPS. Are they better?

Ups is more reliable. They guarantee shipping times on 2 Day, 1 day, and maybe 3 day, or you get your shipping cost back.

UPS is a private enterprise, while USPS is a government entity. In short, my guess is the private enterprise would care more about their lead times and customer satisfaction
