Depends on the business. Mine is service based and local, Facebook has been my biggest lead driver BY FAR. But be forewarned, they start to lose effectiveness and get repetitive if you dont change the parameters regularly

There is no point in spending on social ads without a marketing strategy and well-defined goals. Do you have both of these things sorted out before taking this decision?

Not in my experience for my business. Social Media serves the purpose of keeping top of mind and expand awareness.

Your customers’ social media brings in more customers, not usually yours. Encouraging people to post about your business will bring in new eyes because of their friend’s stamp of approval.

I’ve bought one thing off Facebook in 15 years and it was junk. If I’m looking for a service I go to Google or maybe Craigslist. Never social media.
