Hey everyone,
I’m a web developer looking to start a new side project and was wondering if there’s any software needed that’s missing (or not as good as it should be) in your business?
I have a pretty bad habit of writing software that I think would be good rather than approaching people and asking what they would actually like to use. I was hoping to change that this time.
My parents are small business owners too and I recently built some google review booster tech for some local businesses and it was a great experience, so I’m looking to continue working with SMBs.
Thanks for taking the time to read through this!
[Mods, feel free to remove this if not appropriate]
I could use a customizable CRM. I’d choose what metrics I want to record, etc. There are a lot of CRMs out there, and I’m having trouble knowing if it provides what I want before purchasing. I want to know KPIs both for individual clients, ad compaigns, and overall for the business, with selectable dates from which to calculate those KPIs.
Scheduling software for complex scheduling needs in a therapy based business.
Something to replace excel.
So like a CRM? I might be able to help you out with that. Sending you a PM
Curious - why are you using Excel?
What specifically is complex that you can’t use other scheduling software?
There is no other software that makes sense to use. Excel is flexible enough that I can make notes where I need, easily copy/paste things. Create different ways of viewing the data relatively quickly to help inform decisions.
Bad question.
Rather, ask what business process used by your target audience would benefit from computer automation.
Much faster response, much fewer mistakes, and a big saving on labor costs.
