So I am highly qualified in rural land management & property management plans and am also about ready to burn my office job to the ground. Would love to launch my experiance as a side business (and all going well transition to full time) but I have no idea of how to reach anyone who would actually need my service (mostly tree-changes I would gather).

How did you get started? There is plenty of ways to advertise but I imagine most are just money pits.

Tell us who you uses these services. You may have several customer avatars but you have to know who to target. The targeting is easy because there aren’t very many ways to market.

Then you have to learn which platform or media is consumed by that audience.

We use 6 different ways of communicating with potential customers.

Thanks for your reply, I would intend to market to people who have rural living/hobby farms. Often these are properties in the peri-urban fringe or near holiday zones.

Basically people who have brought a lot of land but have limited knowledge on how to manage it, control weeds, prevent erosion, control rabbits, etc

Low hanging fruit would be targeted fb ads for anyone passing by a tractor supply or farm / ranch store. Any livestock sale that attracts your clientele should have geofence fb ad around the location for the dates of the event. Also, realtors that specialize in farms.

All of this takes minimal investment.
