I started with $100 online, dropship is free, just buy a shopify website, sold over $10k in 9 months, money just isn’t neccessary. Working hard & smart is tho.
If OP literally has zero money they do not need to be an entrepreneur. They need to be employed or at least better at panhandling.
I edited that to remove my gender assumptions, bad habit on my part.
Those people that hold signs on the street are likely making more than most of the population. I’ve talked to a few that have done it and for an all day shift of standing on the corner they can clear $100-600/day
I started with €150 buying and reselling baby/children stuff, have made about €5600 in profits invested that into crypto and now i’m at €8300 atm, hope I can grow it to 10k by the end of this year. Thats the target. I did all the selling trough FB market place and sold it from my house, because I have idea how to start an online/dropship. I should start gathering info on that but I lack computer/tech knowledge. If you have any pointers on were to start please let me know.
I never thought I would say this but I kind of really enjoyed the whole selling thing, i’m curious to learn more and of course let the money I earned right now grow more as I learn new skills. I never been in sales or anything, I just had an idea, tried it and it worked better then I expected, I also enjoyed the whole thing, brainstorming how I could sell more, pull more people in to buy, keep sending push messages, after a while I noticed that I cared more about how many items I sold then how much I actually earned. Online is a different thing I want to try and see how I like it.
Ye an issue with reselling on facebook marketplace might be to scale. I can help you with a nice shopify store setup if you want to make that investment, i highly recommend shopify because you need no technical abilities, just learn the easy UI & push products out. Getting the site design right is key to succeeding. I used to sell on Etsy, ebay too & made tons of sales there but got booted after awhile when they found out i dropshipped. If you want to get into shopify you should definitely take advantage of cheap costs from dropshipping through aliexpress. Theres also tons of addons there to make the listing process go from 30 minutes to 5-10 min.
No idea. I tried a shopify site during Covid but it’s just not for me. I’m really not capable of that. It may come naturally to you but such building, navigating, scaling, whatever, I just seen to suck at it and really don’t enjoy it 😔

Reread the headline

Assuming he has no personal assets, he’s probably homeless then, so go beg for money or a job, work on how you can become an asset that attracts money

Eh maybe twenty an hour. Some days like Thanksgiving is around a hundred an hour. Some days a dollar an hour. I carried a net.

Nice! Any tips on what kind of baby wear to buy in order to sell? Which sold best…? Brands? Colours? Boys or girls? Etc
$10k in 9 months doesn’t beat a minimum wage job
If you don’t count the capacity for scaling yes.
What do you mean by scaling?
