Need some opinions on whether or not creating a website that allows you to easily setup coffee chats with a variety of people in different fields like Investment Banking, Small-Business Owners, etc a viable profitable, and smart business? Maybe charge a subscription of $20 a month?

There are already free solutions with huge user bases
For forum like discussions you Reddit
For relay chat like discussions you have DiscordThen you have Facebook Groups, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X etc.
You can easily hop on a free voice or video call with anyone using Zoom, Google Meet, etc
That said, maybe I’m unsure what you mean by “coffee chats” or what you would be looking for or providing that is different from the free, and very popular existing solutions.
Coffee chat is probably not an online chat but an actual meeting. So Tinder for (casual) business
Lunchclub was the closest we got to this and it’s been a bumpy road from what I can see.
I can do that at my local cafe.
