I used to be a personal trainer as fitness is my passion but due to it not being a reliable source of income I went back to school to become a MRI tech, which is good money.

The main issue with this is mri although I feel is a good choice financially allowing me to invest more of my income in the stock market, it is not my passion and I want to do something that would be another stream of income. Due to this I’m looking for a business I can do on the side when I’m not working in the hospital.

I’m not great when it comes to speaking in front of the camera so I don’t really want to do a YouTube channel but what could be possible ideas to go down? I tried making a fitness app but it never went anywhere. I tried a Shopify appparel store but I ended up just spending a fortune on Facebook market place adds.

Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated Thanks in advance

You can unite everything you did in a single idea: Create a SaaS-type app for independent trainers and gyms that works with ratings and reviews, apart from a section for product sales where you include independent stores with product offerings, all these third-party services that generate sales commissions and as a final part, that the app has a physical and calorie tracking, steps, runs, water intake where users earn points for achievements

People like to receive rewards and if they join routines or challenges they will level up and get more discounts or product prizes

In this way you would employ more personal trainers (the trainer can record their routines or go home to train groups of people or a particular person) the gym can sell its membership or rent its space to independent trainers, promote the store of the branch and encourage users to unlock achievements with their workouts and routine even if it is only to go for a walk in the park

And achievements and challenges can work like NFT apps or move-to-earn apps

It is noteworthy that the gym or trainer will highlight the one closest to the customer’s location on the map just like the stores

The user will have reminders to drink water, workouts and healthy tips according to their physique and their profile of achievements and challenges achieved according to their age and physical condition. You can also include yoga classes and physical therapists :D the end

Even if you had a great revolutionary product. Fitness involves getting comfortable being the face of the franchise. It’s a requirement not a nice to have.

Imagine someone wanting to be a golfer but they don’t like swinging a club. Fitness is based on image. So you have to get comfortable with your name image and likeness.

You can record a video and send to the group, like daily beginners workout etc in a Telegram group probably would work.
But still you need to understand who is your ideal buyer or Perfect Buyer Persona.
If I’m going to gym, I probably don’t need you.

So find your ideal buyer and then find out what’s their problem, don’t ask solution from them, just discover as much problems as possible before you even start, you will be able to see insights that gives you a change to kickstart a MVP to test it out.
