If you were to open up a creative studio (for content creators, photographers, podcasts, videographers) and had a small team of contractors/collaborators that you worked with, what would be a fair offering for studio usage?

The space is open for the public to book, but let’s say one of your contractors would like to book the studio for one of their own client projects? Many of these contractors have their own businesses and clientele. Since they help to bring in business to the studio or have collaborated on creative projects, what would be a fair discount or offering for using the studio for their own projects?

Thanks in advance!

    (all monthly)

    (rent + utilities + staffing costs)/ (opening hours* 60%) = hourly cost

    hourly cost * 50% = hourly price

so then anything between the hourly price an the hourly cost can be assigned as discount

*nb - occupancy rate and markup can be changed as you wish, just proxy numbers.

You can give little discount as they are working for you 🙂 it will rather build trust and more likely to work long term
