List your top mundane tasks as an entrepreneur

What is the most mundane task you encounter as an entrepreneur in your business?

Today there’s so many ways that businesses can be automated. I find that there are many entrepreneurs that seem to have hurdles having more time for the things that truly matter.

Can you share what your day-to-day schedule is like & what tasks you find draining in your business?

I would love to provide my assistance as I run a virtual assisting business specializing in just that. I’m happy to take on a few clients needing urgent business assistance going into the new year 🤗

Breaking down boxes, receiving inventory of large equipment (that are bolted to pallets and have to be unbolted and carried in), setting up computer equipment (software installation and configuration), delivery and installation of that large equipment. So basically 75% of the business. Oh, and the hassles of traveling cross country to give a presentation.

    1- Custom client price quotes,

2- Checking vendor books for accuracy then contacting vendor when there’s a mistake and disputing extra charges no or providing proof of their mistake

3- Sourcing raw materials and then going back and forth with several vendors for pricing, and then submitting PO, credit apps, etc, revising PO because of some minute detail that was incorrect (e.g. they used a different lb to kg conversion metric)

    4- employee reviews

5- logging into Teams when a client wants to use Teams and Microsoft resets my pw each time, or doesn’t recognize my camera

6- reviewing employee work for mistakes, then telling them to correct it, then finding more mistakes, etc

    1. Payroll and timesheets
    2. Price checking new inventory purchases
    3. Babysitting some production machines that run really slowly so I have to spend all weekend sitting around and pressing a couple buttons and adding material when the machine stops. Am I currently writing a reply while babysitting? Yes. Yes I am.
    4. Training new employees to run these machines. Because the current trainee is 5 weeks into a typical 2 week training period.

You’re right, I think people underestimate how much time goes into doing social media well.

It is also my most popular service for my clients & I completely understand why!

Have you ever thought about delegating to have more time for other things?
