So the other day, I let a call from the BBB go to voicemail, they gave me a number and an extension to call. They said they were calling for me, the owner of my business. Would anyone know why they are calling? I did discover it comes from a legit place in Eugene, OR, but I’m not even in the area, so I don’t know why the phone call would even come from there.

Would it be a sales call? Because I’m not interested in joining. So, should I just ignore it if they try and call again? Anyways, thank you!

I’d ignore it. I’ve been in business for 20 years and never joined the BBB. At least in Las Vegas, Google reviews are much more important and the role the BBB plays has been greatly diminished compared to decades ago. Of course, it’s important that you understand your business, market, and clientele They might be important for you.
