I want to support local business but in the town I live in (southern maine) so many of them have the weirdest hours. Like open Monday to Thursday from 10 to 5. How is anyone supposed to go there? I feel like this is a newer thing?

    Their target customers probably aren’t working during those hours (rich, retired, house wives/husbands, people traveling, etc).

    Also, money isn’t everything- if they hit their sales goals and value their free time, why would they work longer?
