Question speaks it all, please be truthful in your answers as I work full time and want to see if others have done it too.

Yup. Started mine by doing research and working on my website in between the 400 phone calls I had to make per day selling insurance. Once that was done and I had my launch night and made more money in a night than I would all week, I quit. That was the stupid, risky part. But that was nearly 3 years ago now and I don’t regret it.

Well instead of sitting writing this question on Reddit… you could be working on your project. Or are you doing it during business time?

Yeah. The sooner you start the better. It gets exponentially harder with kids and as you move past age 26. Easier with remote job as well.

Doing it now too $100K w2, $60K agency on the side

      +1.

It’s so easy. Just look at others doing it and you know the answer is yes. Everything is possible.

It is, but the work/life balance is going to be fucked for a while, putting it bluntly. If you’re willing to put in the work it can definitely happen.

No, no one in the history of the planet has EVER done this. You either work full time and go right to sleep (don’t worry about the other 6 - 8 hours, we’re not good at math based on this question) OR you work on your business.

    Good luck 👍🏽

    Depends on your situation…

If you have children/family it’s the only option. If you’re young and have parental/family support. Then you can devote full time to your business and only your business.

Have been doing this for a while. Corporate job and doing real estate on the side - mainly buy/fix/rent/maintain. Rentals are relatively passive management and when I need something fixed I have my list of dependable contractors.

Working on starting up a business consulting firm now, but more prep and networking vs doing work yet - plan to transition full time next year.
