I recently graduated and decided to take a different route compared to my peers,
I started a 3PL business that is focused on the eCommerce space. I currently have 2 clients through family and friends. I have tried using Facebook groups for Shopify, TikTok shop, and other eCommerce platforms, but the handful of people that do leave a query on my website are dead ends.
What makes me unique?
Firstly, my competition is really just married couples who already have jobs and want to make a side income, whereas I am running this as a proper business and want to scale it exponentially.
Some of the services that separate me from the crowd:
- Full Amazon account management (15%-20% ROI guaranteed)
- Good customer Service
- Bundling + QC
I have already started the SEO process through another company and they have asked me to be patient for at least 6 months before I start to see some consistent traffic on my website.
Could someone guide me as to how I could possibly find cheaper, if not free ways to get the word out and try to get some more queries and then i can come on here again and ask how i could convert those queries into actual customers!
From one 3PL owner to another. The early days are the hardest. More business leads to more referrals, leads to more business etc.
Best bet to find the 1st few clients is to get them anyway possible: -call local larger fulfillment companies and talk to them. They are receiving leads for accounts that are too small for them. They may be willing to refer them to you. -4PL’s log onto all of the 4PL providers sites and get set up with all of them. You’ll need to give them a percentage but it will get business in the door -cold call-check any boxes that arrive to your home. Google the from address to see if a fulfillment company sent that package then call on the company you purchased the product from.
Best of luck and if you ever want to chat about your company feel free to DM me.
