I 24F am starting a business in the clothing industry. I have absolutely NO support and I don’t know what I’m doing. I need help! The guy working in my website is WAITING ON ME for the photos but I keep second guessing myself because I don’t know how to do this. Because he’s waiting on me I it’s causing me anxiety galore. Ever since I’ve attempted starting my husband has been telling me not to do it and it has destroyed my self esteem Im in the need of more money and my husband has it but won’t allow me to have it. I have enough to pay the guy and start listing. But I don’t know what looks professional. I just need someone in my family to give me their time! Maybe some faith too. Does anyone have suggestions on what my next step is??

I have started a few business and as a rule family is supportive to a degree and then that’s it, (your husband should be different, but that’s on him), I would reach out to other people who you know have drive and are generally supportive and also local business networking places.

Trust your instincts when it comes to photos, remember they can always be changed, give your website creator a set of photos and tell them you want to go with these initially, just to get things of the ground, then tell them you may want to change these in the near future and check the fees, or try to make them commit to no extra fees to do this. Just don’t change logos and branding colours too much, this can look unprofessional and confusing but photos are fine.

As for your anxiety about getting off the ground this is actually quite normal, even the biggest entrepreneurs will have this when starting off something new but they won’t admit it or show it outwardly, some people have recommended some books on here that’s a great place to start, there are so many out there and that’s for another chat but you can google this for specific things you want to learn, I’m no reader so I use Audible.

Good luck, I wish you all the best, if you want a pacific advise you can always Dm.
