Hi everyone,
I want to start consulting on the side. I’m a Certified Workers Compensation Professional who offers wc claim management and can create wc policies, analyze claim data to improve experience modification, and reduce fraud.
I’m very shy in real life, but I know to start consulting… networking is key. Does anyone network/find clients solely online? Or should I suck it up and attend a few networking events? 😂
I know some very successful consultants who are introverted. Find an industry or network of people you are comfortable with and start there. Remember you don’t need lots of clients, just good ones who will recommend you to other equally good people.
Are you shy or do you have social anxiety. They are not the same thing. Whichever you have, it’s best to try to get past it by putting yourself out thereand maybe seeking professional help. I know it’s tempting to hide away but you’ll do better to try to still get out and meet people.
