I would love to hear non-US residents who have registered an LLC and have a story to share :)

  1. What’s your home country?
  2. What business are you in?
  3. Do you work with US clients?
  4. How did you pick a registered agent? Does it matter really?
  5. What state have you chosen and why? Wyoming and Delaware appear to be the most popular options.
  6. Are you using multiple LLCs for asset protection purposes?
  7. If you could go back in time, what would you do differently? Tips & tricks?

    7. I wouldn’t register the business so fast without ever getting any traction that the business will work, I incorporated in 2019, had first paying users in 2023 and 2024 will probably be the time when I’ll scale the business. I could’ve delayed the incorporation for a few years and save a few thousands in filling fees.

    I used StartFleet.io, really helpful and I think I paid $999 for all setup. Eventually I closed down again a few years later, because I didn’t have the need for us customers anymore…
