Only ideas I can think of are boucehouse, tables/chairs, and a photo booth. Is there anything else that would be good to rent out? I don’t really have any special skills in particular just have some money to invest in something.

    It seems to me that people are willing to pay more for things the want vs. things they need.

    That being said, I live in northern MN and I have strongly considered buying a couple of sherps to rent out. They’re not street legal so you’d have to either

    A: deliver them yourself on a trailer

    B: rent them a trailer along with the sherp.

    Since many people are not proficient with the operation of a trailer (not to mention loading/securing the vehicle for transport), option A seems the more sound decision but would involve a LOT more time.

    Also, I’m a trained diesel mechanic so I could maintain them myself- not everyone has that advantage.

    Sherps are expensive, and trailers are expensive. But I suspect you could lease both. Still, even leasing, probably gonna cost $250k or more to get set up.
