I’m letting go of an employee this week, and it’s making me feel terrible. I’m wracked with guilty and full of empathy.
I’m still letting them go, but any advise on how to not feel so emotionally guilty for firing someone?

I actually try not to think about it as its all business and not personal. And for me before we even get to that point they would have seen it coming a mile away due to all the non-written conversations and then written conversations we had pre-firing.
