Watching the GPTs number expands rapidly since its launch, this weekend I built AwesomeGPTs - a platform for exploring and sharing the GPTs.

https://awesomegpts.pro

What’s special about AwesomeGPTs? We’ve already amassed a collection of over 9000 GPTs gathered from across the Internet (mostly, from X) – and the number is still climbing! Whether you’re an AI enthusiast, a developer, or just curious about GPTs, here’s how you can dive into this vast resource:

  1. Random Exploration: If you’re feeling adventurous, browse randomly and discover GPT models in the most unexpected corners.
  2. Category: With more than 1000+ categories, find collections of GPTs tailored to your specific interests or industry.
  3. Search: Have specific criteria in mind? Use our search engine to filter through the GPTs using any keywords you can think of.
  4. Discover Similar GPTs: Each GPT page comes with recommendations for similar GPTs at the bottom – a great way to uncover models you might not have found otherwise.

Thanks for reading. If you have troubles using this website, feel free to leave a comment!

I have already lost count how many of these exact same things are posted here in the last 48 hours alone but it’s a lot. This is literally the monkey jpeg selling business all over again.

Anyway. The over the fold area of the website looks nice and clear. I like the typography, too.

I don’t love the UX, though. Basically all clickable elements seem to use different colors for no reason. Also, the AI product boxes change their background color when mouse cursor is over them, but they are not actually clickable everywhere. This is confusing. Either remove the background color change effect, or make them fully clickable.

Unlike with most of the other AI tools directories posted here lately, this website’s search feature actually works, well done!

To improve this, I would add options to filter and sort the list. Also, the Category page looks pretty rough. I don’t understand the need to have a separate Search page, when there is the search feature right on the front page already.

This might be the best of these AI tool directory things posted here lately. Good job!

      Wow, such thoughtful feedbacks!

You are right about the confusing background color change in the product card. I changed the original blog template where the complete card was clickable because I think there are different link destinations in the same card (the product page/the category page/the GPT page). Probably I should remove the background color change.

Filtering and sorting could be implemented in the near future.

I think category page could provide some inspirations to users. Think it as “collections for doing XXX”.

The search button in the navbar is for quick access if the user has scroll down too far… well maybe not a real problem…

      Thanks again for your comment.
