I really want to start an Etsy shop, I’ve recently got into epoxy resin and I enjoy it. Is it even profitable?

In my experience you need to spend a ton on advertising to make any significant sales on etsy. It would be worth it to do pop ups at multi day markets. Have your etsy address on your business card so when you interact with customers you can hand them out. Once you get a good customer base then go on Etsy.

I just came across this company in another comment actually, it’s called Paper and Spark, they have a lot of information about selling on Etsy, that might help you!

I have an Etsy shop and believe anything can be profitable if you have a niche. I started doing one thing then moved to another and have fine tuned my offerings by listening to my customers. What I do is definitely a saturated market, but my customers wanted something bigger than most can offer, so I bought equipment I needed and offer what I do in larger sizes. Each year is better than the one before.
