I started a small business back in February and it’s too much for me to keep up with. I work full time and want to go back to school full time as well. It’s a small pop up business that sells artisan foods at farmers markets and other outdoor events. We have been moderately successful. I’m looking to find the cheaper options to list a business for sale but was wondering if anyone had any experience selling or buying a small business.
Believe it or not, you could try craigslist. Just be very sure about who you meet and where you meet them - ideally inside a bank.
I also like the other guy’s idea about pitching it to another local business… which could be done via CL, FB, nextdoor, cold call, email, in person, direct mail, etc.
